1.9 Groups and lines

The chain of elements from service "In" till service "Switch" represents line. The present program allows involving in work some lines of elements in one configuration (group of lines).

Through menu item "Edit"-"Delete" remove from the project the beginning of a chain - service "In".

Now let's make service "Log" active and choose menu item "Edit"-"Add"-"Group".

The new group designate as "Group1".

Through menu item "Edit"-"Add"-"Line" create in the group two new lines: "L1" and "L2".

So now it is possible to add new services in created lines as it was made earlier.

Let's insert service "In" separately at first in "L1", then in "L2".

During addition of service in line "L2" the program informs, that "Port already in use".

It means that the port 8080 accepted by default is already involved by the service added in "L1". Therefore let's change port value to another, for example, on 8081.

In a result we have more complex configuration with several lines of elements. The client can be connected to any of two open ports - 8080 or 8081. Thus the data stream will pass either through a chain "In"("L1")-"Log"-...-"Switch", or through "In"("L2")-"Log"-...-"Switch".
